Strange Country is operated by Mat Dalby. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use this site.

What we collect

When you sign up as a member, we collect your email address. That's it. We use it to send you new episodes, updates, and occasional content related to Strange Country. We don't ask for your name, payment details, or anything else.

If you submit a film through our submission form, we also collect the contact details you provide (name and email) solely for the purpose of following up on that submission.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data. We don't share it with third parties for marketing purposes. We don't run advertising on this site.

Third-party services

This site is built on Ghost, which handles membership and email delivery. You can read Ghost's privacy policy at ghost.org. Our database and vault infrastructure runs on Netlify and Supabase.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies required for membership functionality, to keep you logged in and remember your session. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Unsubscribing

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us directly and we'll remove you immediately.
